Women in Motion: What We Saw, What It Means for Building Sports Communities

It’s always a sight to see our work out on the track, on the field, or out on the road.

But more than that, it’s about who’s wearing it and what they’re building.

Women showed up for the run and showed up for each other. That’s what defined this month.

Across the sessions, the pattern was clear. People arrived early. They stayed after. They moved at different paces but carried the same energy.

Different ages. Different backgrounds. Same decision to show up.

On the track, you could see it unfold naturally. Some were already in rhythm. Others were building it. Some were pushing pace, others were focused on consistency. Everyone found their place within the session.

Encouragement during reps. Conversations between intervals. Support that didn’t need to be announced, just felt.

Working With Athletes Who Show Up

We’ve always valued partnerships with athletes, coaches, and communities who take the work seriously.

Erika Ting-Dee and Repeat Daily set the tone for how these sessions were held. Open, steady, and easy to step into. Coach Jett guided the track work with clarity and a perspective that goes beyond pace and structure.

Spending time around how he coaches, you start to understand that running, for him, is tied to discipline, clarity, and staying with something long enough to see where it leads.

We spent time understanding that approach in more detail here:

That way of thinking carried through the sessions. Consistent, grounded, and focused on the work.

Building Around Real Use

Throughout the runs, we introduced a small run of LGR Motion singlets and muscle shirts.

There was no formal launch. No heavy push.

People asked about them anyway.

During the run. After the run. The next day in messages.

That response comes from use. The product was part of the session. It held up in movement and became part of the experience.

That’s something we take pride in with LGR Motion. The goal is always to build pieces that make sense in real use, not just in presentation.

What This Means for Brands and Organizations

For teams, partners, and organizations, these sessions offer a clear direction.

When the environment is set correctly, people engage. They return. They bring others in. Over time, that builds something that holds.

For us, that means continuing to support athletes, coaches, and communities who are putting in the work, and making sure what we produce matches that level of commitment.

It also means building our own brand, LGR Motion, in a way that reflects how people actually move and train.

Moving Forward
